We are a national brand rather than a town-rooted firm. Moves are scheduled from whichever depot makes the route work, with crews that run that route regularly. Local UK moves run from any depot to any destination; international moves to France, Italy, Spain or Portugal are dispatched from the depot closest to your pickup.

Greater London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Essex, Berkshire and Hampshire. Our London depot serves the bulk of southern-England moves and dispatches most international loads to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Cumbria. Manchester depot covers the north-west bulk and dispatches considered international moves from the Midlands and the north.

Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Wolverhampton and the surrounding shires. Dispatched from Manchester or London depending on route direction.

Yorkshire & the North East
Leeds, Sheffield, York, Bradford, Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland. Leeds and Newcastle depots between them cover the north-east bulk.

Bristol, Bath, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire. Bristol depot covers the south-west bulk and dispatches international moves to France and the Iberian peninsula by the western route.

Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough, the broader Anglian counties. Dispatched from London depot.

Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, the Highlands and Borders. Glasgow and Edinburgh depots cover Scottish moves and dispatch international loads through the southern route.

A note on town-level pages
Forge does not publish a dedicated page for every UK town. We could, but most of them would say the same thing in slightly different words — and the considered version of the trade is to write only what is genuinely useful. If your move is from a particular town and you want a route-specific brief, send a quote request and the surveyor will write it for you.
